Sports Day

We had a fun filled morning at Pearse Park for our annual Sports Day. We were blessed with an extended dry spell which allowed us to complete our main events. We even managed to squeeze in races for some V.I.Ps.
A big well done to our very talented and enthusiastic boys and girls who really gave their all to each and every event. The competition was tough and each medal was most definitely earned and deserved!
A special mention to the Missy and Me team and Patsy Mullin for providing treats and refreshments for everyone, big and small. As always, we’re so grateful to the committee for allowing us to hold Sports Day at Pearse Park. We are so fortunate to have such great facilities on our doorstep.
A huge thank you to all the staff at Crossroads for helping to put the day together. Sports Day requires lots of preparation and planning, from creating teams, producing posters, practicing with the children, moving our resources to and from the site…the list goes on and on but was ably managed by our dedicated team. A special word of thanks to Conor for transporting all the chairs and for providing the PA system and music which kept spirits high.
