🌼SEASON OF CREATION - GROWING HOPE WEEK!🌼

The Derry Diocese is encouraging our schools, parishes and families to reflect on what each one of us can do to help protect our environment. It is our duty to protect all of God's creation. 🙏🏻🌍

St. Francis of Assisi is the patron saint of animals, merchants and ecology. We researched a little bit about him and discussed important ways we too can help the world around us.

Our boys and girls explored nature weaving using branches and wool. The boys and girls did a super job! It was a great chance to get creative with nature and to relax in the sun. ☀️

Over the last week we have been talking and learning about creation and being thankful to God for giving us all the wonderful things we have in the world.

We can see God in so many things around us so we took on the challenge of ‘Drawing God’. We think our display looks really good with still a few more pieces to be finished and added.
