Power For Good
On Monday we wore odd socks to highlight our individuality and to show that we are happy to be unique.
Our Wellbeing Ambassadors planned our World Kindness Day activities. They invited everyone to make a compliment card for someone in class, sharing one positive thing about that person. These were shared on Thursday and they brought smiles to all faces.
The staff also got involved by treating each other to some special breaktime goodies and making donations to the NI Children’s Hospice. Together with donations sent in on Monday, we raised over £280 for this worthy charity.
On Friday the very talented P5/6 children led our assembly. They explained how we can use our power for good to help our friends if we notice they are having a difficult time. The class then treated us to a lovely rendition of ‘You Can Count On Me’.
